The reason for the error is that you have a wireless card fitted which is not recognised by the bios and it throws up this error. This helped me too. In any event, I can’t really help you any more at this point without the laptop’s machine type.

Anyway when this happened, I was dead in the water, wouldn’t boot past the error and I had to make another disc in the field y42 disassemble the lappy. Of course, some of Intel’s WiFi chipsets have their own issues I have my HP laptop working from it.

I can’t roll back the driver car there isn’t a previous one, and would I create more problems by uninstalling the driver and trying to reinstall it, seeing as I haven’t got internet access? To fix it go here and burn the CD iso.

What could be the problem? I think I uninstalled the driver at this point and reinstalled it: Message 6 of Your name or email address: It shows a yellow esclamation mark and says “network controller” under “other devices”.

JPG’ The T42 has two wireless adapters in it so I believe – I don’t know how to switch to csrd other oneand the one being used is the Cisco one defaults to. If this should be under ‘software’ please make it so.
